Excel, Powerpoint, and Crystal Reports are client favorites for receiving reports in easy to use formats.

Excel — A powerful feature of Microsoft Excel is the ability to manipulate workbooks from a separate Visual Basic application. This strategy is well suited for producing reports tailored to the specific needs of the individual client. Resulting reports are completely contained in easily distributed Excel workbooks. Worksheets and application code can be hidden from end users, and menu control can be introduced to deliver reports in a stand-alone, self-contained Workbook.

PowerPoint — Microsoft PowerPoint provides good looking graphical presentation, but difficult to scale up to produce in large quantities.
